Machine Operator (Civils) – Ref: 171
Skills & Experience
• Hold a valid CSCS 180/360° Excavator Card and have experience of working on a variety of Civils Works such as foundation construction, building of access roads, laying of bog/mats. 
• To be skilled and proficient in varied tasks to include Banks man, concrete work, shuttering, sheet-piling, steel fixing, use of multipurpose excavators and dumper driver
• Experience of using laser levels/ theodolites
• Hold and maintain relevant statutory requirements e.g. Safe Pass, Clean Driving Licence (Lorry), CSCS
• Strong commitment to safety and applying safe work practises on day to day duties.
• Good time keeping and prepared to travel and work away from home.
• Strong logical and innovative problem solving skills
• Energetic and physically fit, and willing/able to work in any weather conditions and terrains
• Technical minded, with strong ability to read maps, technical drawings, grid coordinates etc.
• Fluent in the English language both written & verbal.

Machine Operator (Poling) – Ref: 172
Skills & Experience
• Hold a valid CSCS 180/360° Excavator Card and have experience of working on a variety of Civils Works such as Poling, Foundation construction, building of access roads, laying of bog/mats. 
• Experience of working on Overhead and Underground Powerlines, specifically experienced in Poling with  ESBN Person-In-Charge-of-Poling (PICP) training and ESBN Poling Erector Machine Operator Training
• Installation of poles on new and existing Distribution & Transmission Network (Push-up/Split-bucket Method)
• Live Poling experience an advantage
• Experience of working in boggy ground an advantage
• Experienced and trained in CSCS Location of Underground Services

Mechanic (HGV)  – Ref: 173
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Carry out service, repairs (including diagnostic) and maintenance on Heavy Goods Vehicles to the standards required by industry and the company
• Ensuring that all Plant and Vehicles that are inspected, worked on or serviced are maintained to a standard that ensures the vehicle is compliant with all legislation
• Ensure a full understanding of the latest technology introduced on vehicles
• Liaise with the Fleet Manager over required repairs
• Complete all required paperwork to the standards required
• General housekeeping of the workshop area
• Be able to read drawings and prepare material list accordingly.
• Issue of stores items and keeping accurate records of stock levels.
• Manually loading and unloading materials, and delivery of same to sites
• Preparing materials and equipment for collection
• Work on own initiative and flexibility in line with business requirements.
• Ability to represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
• Other tasks as required

Essential:
• Good knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic systems of Heavy Goods Vehicles.
• A clean driving licence (category C minimum, category D desirable)
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Strong organisational skill with a flexible and methodical approach to work and work location
• Ability and experience of using power and hand tools related to HGV  service and repair
• A team-oriented positive attitude and pride in a job well done
• Must be competent in use of Excel and input data in a timely and accurate manner
• A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications:
• Recognised Mechanic HGV qualification
• Minimum 2 years’ experience of repairing Heavy Goods Vehicle
• Relevant Certificates for operating mechanical loading equipment (i.e Teleporter, Fork lift)
• Safe Pass

FTTB Programme/Outage Planner - ref: 174

As FTTB Programme/Outage Planner you will be responsible for co-ordinating, planning and managing the FTTB operations within Grid Network Services.  To apply for this position you must have the following ability, skills and experience;

• 5+ Years’ experience in the Telecoms Industry (essential).
• 5+ years’ experience of Planning Fibre Projects (essential).
• Experience with Submission and Control on Distribution Networks Electrical Outage
• Experience working on Fibre networks deployed on power networks (direct experience with ESBN would be advantageous)
• Ability to plan work with consideration for SHEQ regulations and legislation required in the utilities industry.
• Ability to plan work effectively on large scale utility projects.
• High level of Motivation.
• Excellent planning, literacy, numeric, and IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office with particular emphasis on Attention to Detail.
• Full, clean driving licence
• Flexibility in line with business requirements.
• Ability to represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

FTTB Operations Manager - Ref: 175
As FTTB Operations Manager you will be responsible for developing, co-ordinating and managing the FTTB operations within Grid Network Services.  To apply for this position you must have the following ability, skills and experience;

• 5+ Years’ experience in the Telecoms Industry (essential).
• 5+ years’ experience of managing Fibre Projects (essential).
• Experience as an Operations Manager in a large construction company.
• Experience working on Fibre networks deployed on power networks (direct experience with ESBN would be advantageous)
• Ability to manage the SHEQ regulations and legislation required in the utilities industry.
• Ability to manage a Team and ensure that SHEQ policies are adhered to.
• Ability to resource plan effectively and project manage large scale utility projects.
• Experience with managing financial reporting up to and including full P&L responsibility.
• High level of Motivation.
• Excellent literacy, numeric and IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Full, clean driving licence
• Flexibility in line with business requirements.
• Ability to represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

Distribution & Transmission Linespersons – Ref 176

• Experience in working on Distribution and Transmission Network

• Energetic and physically fit, and willing/able to work in any weather conditions and terrains
• Hold and maintain relevant statutory requirements e.g. Safe Pass, Clean Driving Licence .
• Technical minded, with strong ability to read maps, technical drawings, grid coordinates etc.
• Ability to operate surveying hand held tools such as Dataloggers, height-meters, rangefinders etc.
• Fluent in the English language both written & verbal.
